Soiree News
The committee is hard at work securing some amazing prizes for this year’s event. We have 200 guests already registered for the Crystal Gala. If you have not yet purchased your ticket or have friends or family that would like to attend, registration is still open.
Additionally, sponsorships are now open, and there are some exciting opportunities still available. If you would like more sponsorship information, either for the event or even considering sponsoring a specific prize as a family or business, please reach out to the committee chairs at HillviewSoiree@gmail.com. Thank you to the sponsors who have already committed. We look forward to working with you. Sponsorships will be open until February 15th.
Do you own a small business but are not sure what your role could be? Even as a small business, a contribution would be greatly appreciated! Own a landscaping company? Possibly donate a fall cleanup, or have a cookie business—maybe donate a certificate for 25 custom-made cookies to complement someone’s event they host. The possibilities are endless, and we would love to discuss them with you! Please reach out for more information.
JANUARY Highlights
Holiday Boutique
This year’s Holiday Boutique was a huge success thanks to all of our
parent volunteers! The kids enjoyed the boutique shopping for their
loved ones. We are so grateful for all of our parent volunteers who
helped make it a great fundraiser for the school.
Holiday Market
Hillview's Holiday Market was a great success! We had handmade
crafters ranging from candles, hand painted items, floral, hand
carved wooden trinkets, DIY take home crafts for the kids and so
much more. Thank you to the HSA for their contributions and the
Hillview Holiday Market Committee ! It was such a great day and will
be looking forward to next years!
Holiday Giving Tree
What a generous and caring Hillview community we have! So many
students participated in this year's Giving Tree that collected 200+
warm items and coats. These donated items were distributed by
Jacksonville Chapel during Christmas week to those in need in the
Paterson community, ensuring that many more people will be much
warmer this winter season. We very much appreciate the generosity
and thoughtfulness of everyone who supported The Giving Tree this
year!
Polar Express Day
It was a magical day at Hillview! Thank you to all of the 2nd grade
classes for hosting December’s snack sale. Cookies were available to
purchase during lunch periods while hot chocolate was served to
each student. The students dressed in their favorite holiday pajamas
while festive music was playing during their lunch periods. Special
thanks to all parents who volunteered to help with this special day!
The kids truly had a blast!
Fall Fundraiser: Meadow Farms
Our Fall Fundraiser with Meadow Farms was a success! We raised
$2,265. Thank you to all the students and families who participated.
Students earned entry into a raffle for ever $25 of items sold. The
winner, drawn randomly, from the participation raffle is.....Evan S
from Kindergarten! Evan will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card.

Hello Hillview Families,
We are excited for our 4th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
Pick your best pumpkin and decorate, design or carve at home. Bring to school to be judged on 10/31, please not before!
All pumpkins should be brought directly to the main entrance at drop off.
Please make sure the student's name and class is written on the back or bottom of the pumpkin. Please pick up the pumpkin after the Halloween Parade in the pavilion. All pumpkins not picked up by the end of day will be discarded.
The winner will be announced on October 31st. Winner will receive a gift card!
